There are 6 different versions that can be built using this kit. To successfully build one of six different CONTROLLER versions you will need:
For Single or Three phase tethered or non tethered EVSE CONTROLLER without current measurement function you will need:
DIY EVSE PCB, Electronic component kit, Pro Mini board, Power Supply unit, THT screw terminals (5 for single phase or 9 for three phase), I2C 1602 LCD screen, Relays (2 for single phase, 4 for three phase).
For Single phase tethered or non tethered EVSE CONTROLLER with current measurement function you will need:
DIY EVSE PCB, Electronic component kit, Pro Mini board, Power Supply unit, THT screw terminals (5 for single phase), I2C 1602 LCD screen, Relays (2 for single phase), SCT current sensor.
For Three phase tethered or non tethered EVSE CONTROLLER with current measurement function you will need:
DIY EVSE PCB, Electronic component kit, Pro Mini board, Power Supply unit, THT screw terminals (9 for three phase), I2C 2004 LCD screen, Relays (4 for three phase), 3 x SCT current sensors (one sensor for each phase).
You will still have to source your own RCD device, enclosure, power cables, cables for connecting screen with PCB, cables for connecting power supply with PCB, EV charging connector or socket, power cable terminals, some kind of push button. As you see that's a lot of thing you need to get and it will involve a lot of hard work before your charging device is completed. So make sure you understand all this and only start this project if you really have nothing better to do :D And please don't buy anything if you think you can save money on charging equipment by building your own. You won't save anything, as there are a lot of cheap finished products in the market and my prices can't compete with them. Not to mention your wasted time to assemble it. This project is only for developers and hobbyists.
